This text is about the link between ‘archives’ and ‘ghosts’, about the subjective state of archives and all the fictions they can contain. The images were taken in various archive locations in Brussels. By using a compositional grid for the images and a large sized text, random hyphenation patterns emerge. This system echoes the text, the random arrangements and the piles of boxes observed in archive centres. The book was designed with Victor Sirot and Frédéric Jaman and risograph printed in the workshops of Ravisius Textor in Nevers. Typography: Custom typeface by Frédéric Jaman.
