This little booklet published by Huberty & Breyne gallery contains a selection of drawings from Gilles Barbier‘s Naufrages series. The binding of the sheets with an elastic allows us to reappropriate the story, which shows us the birth and fall of an island. This multi-faceted narrative is a recurring theme in the artist’s work.
