To mark the completion of the iMAL digital art centre, CENTRAL Office for Architecture and Urbanism asked us to produce this short booklet. Its aim is to present the finished project through a series of photographs by Maxime Delvaux, but also to highlight the ideas, archives, sketches and stories surrounding the project, parallel stories which CENTRAL likes to showcase.

This booklet marks the start of a series. The perforations allow to compile a collection of booklets in a binder. This booklet was the moment to review the office’s identity, initiating a new typographic choice (ABC Marfa). The contents – texts, photographs and archive documents – are simply articulated on a central axis, vertical or horizontal, to create a simple, high-impact graphic echo of the office’s name. This booklet was designed with Frédéric Jaman and Adrien de Hemptinne. Typography: ABC Marfa, LL Catalogue.
